Shaping Interiors Through Light, Design and Identity
For Estella Prestige, lighting is not simply an element added to an interior, but part of the way a space is understood and experienced. Through scale, materiality, craftsmanship and atmosphere, the right piece can influence not only how a room looks, but how it feels.
Rooted in Bangkok’s evolving design landscape, Estella Prestige brings together international design, contemporary living and a strong sensitivity to context. Its approach to luxury is equally considered, favouring pieces with character, longevity and a natural connection to the spaces they inhabit.
Across projects, partnerships and carefully curated collections, the same idea remains at the centre: lighting should feel intentional, personal and capable of becoming part of the identity of a space.

From Family Business to Design Destination
What began as a family business has gradually grown into a more complete design experience, shaped by almost three decades of close contact with clients, architects and interior designers. Over time, Estella Prestige moved beyond the idea of simply presenting lighting pieces and developed a more considered approach, where each selection is made in relation to the architecture, scale and atmosphere of a space.
“We don't begin by asking ‘what should we sell?’ We begin by asking ‘what is right for this particular space, and for the people who will live in it?’”
That vision is reflected in its two Bangkok locations: the Ratchaphruek flagship gallery and the boutique showroom at Crystal Design Center, each offering a different way to experience lighting in context.
"That understanding shaped our vision today: to be not simply a lighting showroom, but a destination where clients, interior designers and architects can experience how light transforms a space."
What sets Estella Prestige apart is not simply the pieces it presents, but the knowledge, sensitivity and experience behind every selection. The aim is always to find lighting that feels naturally connected to the architecture, reflects the people who will live with it and continues to feel meaningful long after the initial impression.
A New Confidence in Thai Design
Thailand’s design landscape has evolved into a more confident and distinctive creative scene. While international influences remain part of the conversation, Thai architects and designers are increasingly shaping spaces through their own perspective, combining global references with warmth, craftsmanship and a strong sensitivity to how people live.
"What I find particularly interesting about contemporary Thai design is our ability to blend rather than imitate"
Rather than relying on traditional motifs, this identity can emerge through proportion, materiality, detail and the atmosphere of a space, creating interiors that feel unmistakably connected to their context without being defined by convention.
For Estella Prestige, this evolution also opens a new chapter. After years of introducing international design to Thailand, the ambition is increasingly two-way: creating greater space for Thai creativity and craftsmanship within the global design conversation.
"For me, the future isn't simply about bringing the world to Thailand - it's also about bringing Thailand to the world."

A Quieter Definition of Luxury
Luxury is increasingly about what a piece adds to a space over time, rather than the immediate impression it creates. This idea is closely connected to Estella Prestige’s mission, Define Your Legacy, where quality, individuality and lasting value take precedence over excess.
"Exceptional craftsmanship gives an object integrity. Contemporary design gives it relevance. Individuality gives it character."
A lighting piece gains meaning through the way it relates to the interior around it. Architecture, proportions, materials, lifestyle and cultural context all influence that relationship, while craftsmanship and material heritage, from European crystal to brasswork shaped by generations of artisans, add depth and character.
The aim is not for every element to compete for attention, but for each piece to strengthen the identity of the space and feel as though it truly belongs.
"When craftsmanship, contemporary design and the identity of a space come together naturally, luxury becomes quieter, more personal, and more timeless. True luxury doesn't need to announce itself - you feel it."

A Design Philosophy Built on Trust
After almost three decades in the industry, the value of a project is no longer defined by its scale or prestige. What matters most is the confidence clients place in Estella Prestige when inviting the team into something as personal as their home.
"When a client tells us, 'This is our home. We trust you to help us choose what's right' I never take that lightly. A home is not a showroom - it's where a family will wake up every morning, return to every evening, and build memories for many years."
That responsibility shapes every lighting decision. Beyond visual appeal, each piece is considered for how naturally it fits the architecture, whether its scale and atmosphere feel right and how closely it reflects the people who will live with it, not only today, but years from now.
The same level of care applies to every project, regardless of its size. A home carries personal meaning at any scale, and that is ultimately what guides the studio’s approach: creating interiors that are meant to be lived in, not simply admired.
"We're not interested in creating interiors that are impressive for a photograph. We want to help create spaces that remain meaningful to the people who live in them."

Beyond the Product: A Design Partnership
For Estella Prestige, Castro Lighting answers a very specific need in today’s interiors: creating spaces that feel contemporary without losing warmth, substance or a sense of permanence. That combination has made the brand particularly relevant to a new generation of homeowners in Thailand and strengthened Estella Prestige’s role as its exclusive dealer in the country.
Rather than acting as decorative additions, pieces such as Safi and Mondrian can influence the way an interior is perceived, bringing structure, movement and a stronger architectural presence to the space.
"When used in the right space, lighting can almost become jewellery for the architecture, not simply decorating the room, but helping define its character. This is what we value in Castro Lighting."
The connection between the two brands has also grown beyond the collections themselves. Over time, shared expectations around quality, design and craftsmanship have turned representation into a closer creative relationship.
"I believe the strongest partnerships are exactly like good design - they become more valuable with time."
In that sense, the partnership becomes part of the same philosophy that guides both brands: creating something with enough meaning and quality to remain relevant long after the first impression.
