CHARMING APARTMENT IN THE CENTER OF PRAGUE
 

January brought to Castro a residential interior design project inspired in nickel/grey tones from the Czech interior design firm, Ambience Design.  Featuring an overtone touch of Art Nouveau architecture, this apartment in the center of Prague preserves the very essence of the studio - Quality, as a top priority, originality, and creativity. Attractive design is pivotal - Ambiance Design team makes everything within a friendly and relaxed approach with the clients' vision. The strong relationship between contemporary and antique in this project managed to add a little charm.

THE METIER COLLECTION

In the literal sense, this collection represents a specific type of work that few have the natural ability to do, reaching perfection. Métier in French is related to an outstanding performance. The ultimate fusion between the artistic design, authenticity of traditional Portuguese metal-work techniques, and creative craftsmanship.

CASTRO SPECIALS
 

Castro's ability to customize existing lighting pieces to create entirely new ones is unlimited. The brand can produce luxurious chandeliers upon request to correspond to your idea of a perfect interior design project. During May, the team reunited some of the best-customized lighting pieces the brand had already produced, creating an extraordinary series of Castro bespoke lighting fixtures known as "Castro Specials.

AVANT-GARDE INTERIORS FEATURING MARINA PUTILOVSKAYA
 

"A dream come true" luxurious interior project designed and decorated by Marina Putilovskaya, a talented interior designer from Russia. The authentic synergy between the designer and her clients makes this lavish private condo a perfect living space icon that reflects a fusion of contemporary functional style and classy elegance. This perfectly designed harbor accomplished to the highest standards with dedication and attention to each smallest detail.

GALAXY DINING ROOM DESIGN BY SVETLANA KRASILNIKOVA
 

The following project presents a modern dining room space that will conquer your heart. Svetlana Krasilnikova, a talented Ukrainian interior designer born in Kharkiv, was selected to refurnish a dining room space, from a local private apartment.

AUGUST

SHANGRI-LA RESIDENCE BY CLOVE REPUBLIC
 

Located in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka, a precious jewel on the Indian Ocean was developed: Shangri-La Residences, a luxurious complex with a glittering cultural heritage and a long, proud history. A tropical sanctuary that is perfect to escape the city life routine. It offers some of the finest views and accommodations of the town. 

Clove Republic, a furniture store in Sri Lanka that features bespoke furniture, accessories, providing also interior design services. This Sri Lankan luxury furniture store was responsible to decorate one of the rooms in the complex.

SEPTEMBER

CASTRO LIGHTING AT SUPERSALONE
 

Salone del Mobile dubbed "Supersalone" in Milano was a joy to re-visit. It was a comeback from the brand on major international fairs and it brought up a sense of hope to bring back normality to the design sector. From 5-10 September, it was a pleasure to see and reunite with older and new partners, discover trends for this season, and discover plenty of novelties by professionals in the design industry. Castro Lighting brought its furniture lifestyle side under the name of Castro Interiors whilst highlighting some of the newest luxurious lighting fixtures.

OCTOBER

CASTRO SPECIALS | ONE-OF-A-KIND STORY
 

A new world of possibilities to bespoke your dreams is here to stay. When the challenge is to create a big impact through the design, it is always important to reveal the character and soul of the living space, then complement it with custom-styled luxury furniture and timeless lighting fixtures. All this can be found in the stunning Hotel Project by Lemon Interior Design in Romania. The whole interior design project inspires us to dream big, to have the courage to think differently, and to be adventurous.

October end brought up a fabulous press moment for Castro Lighting. Being featured in the Spanish famous magazine Ideas y Tendencias Interiores was a remarkable step. An October edition brought a selection of luxurious floor lamps (featuring Castro design: Arcade Floor Lamp) to empower your home décor creativity and mastermind the latest home decor inspiration.

DECEMBER

CONSTELLATION SUSPENSION
 

This mesmerizing design brings you into the daydreaming state of mind, revealing the story about visionary luxury and fancy fantasy implemented from the classy sketch to the sophisticated chandelier. Impressive new lighting creation is the marriage of innovations, design creativity, and brass handcrafting perfection. Imagine the constellation of stars in the open space, freedom, and transparency. The Constellation suspension is composed of rotating stars figures adorned with falling raindrops spinning around the lighting design in the centre that shimmer in harmony through the delicate crystals. In addition to the magnificent crystal drops, the design has sharp crystals that contrast with the raindrops and allude to meteorite shape, as well as convey the impression of ice shards.
