Modern Italian Elegance in a Bespoke Luxury Home Bar

Located within a private residence in Moor Park, Northwood, this luxury home bar was designed to harmonise functionality, high-end materials, and sculptural lighting. Adjacent to a private indoor swimming pool, spa, and gym, the space is a seamless extension of the home's refined lifestyle.

Crafted by Fontana, a London-based architectural design studio rooted in Italian heritage, the bar blends modern sophistication with timeless craftsmanship. From the Carrara statuario marble to the polished gold finishes, every detail speaks of precision and prestige.

About the Designers – Fontana

Fontana embodies the essence of modern Italian design. Though based in London, the studio draws from generations of Italian architectural tradition, combining premium materials, artisanal techniques, and a passion for detail.

For this project, the team curated a palette of luxurious materials—including precision-engineered components sourced directly from Italy—to create a bespoke home bar that is both contemporary and enduring.

Sculptural Lighting by Castro Lighting

To enhance the space’s visual depth and artistic identity, Castro Lighting was chosen to provide the key decorative elements. Two of its most iconic designs were selected to elevate the space with luxury lighting and architectural impact.

Halma Suspension

Suspended above the marble bar island, the Halma Suspension is made from solid brass and clear crystal glass, creating a warm, geometric glow. Its elegant presence enhances the golden tones throughout the bar, serving as both a lighting solution and a sculptural centrepiece. The fixture aligns perfectly with Fontana’s focus on refined materials and contemporary Italian aesthetics.

Projection Bar Stools

The Projection Bar Stools are more than functional seating—they are statement pieces in their own right. Composed of dozens of individually placed brass tubes, these stools introduce texture, form, and modern design into the space. Positioned at the bar island, they create a visual dialogue with the lighting above, reinforcing the luxury and craftsmanship of the overall design.
